# Troubleshooting

## macOS won’t open the app or says it is from an unidentified developer

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down. Next to the line saying More AI was blocked, click “Open Anyway” and confirm. No button there? Try to open the app once more, then come back. You only need to do this once.

## Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer

Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. This is the standard prompt for newly-published installers.

## My model replies with an authentication error

Re-check the API key in Settings, make sure the matching provider is selected, and confirm the key still has quota in the provider’s dashboard.

## A download link doesn’t work

Try again in a moment — the download falls back to a mirror automatically. You can also grab any build directly from the releases page.
