Sync across devices and use the web app

Turn on optional cloud sync to keep your chats and Cowork projects up to date on every computer — and open them in any browser at app.more-ai.net. It’s off by default, so your data stays on your machine until you switch it on.

What sync does

By default everything in More AI stays on the one computer you’re using. Turn on Sync and your chats and Cowork projects are kept up to date across every device where you’re signed in — changes made on one are merged into the others safely, so nothing overwrites your work.

Sync is completely optional and stays off until you enable it. The app is fully usable without an account; sync is the one feature that needs one.

The Sync switch in Settings → General, turned on

Turning it on

Open Settings → General and flip the Sync switch. The first time, you’ll sign in with your email — there is no password; we email you a six-digit code. The same account works in both the desktop app and the web app.

Once it’s on, a small status line shows when your data last synced and where to reach it in your browser.

Your chats in any browser

Signed-in conversations are available at app.more-ai.net — your personal web cabinet. Open it on a phone, a work laptop or any browser to read your synced chats and Cowork projects without installing anything.

New to More AI? Signing in on the web creates a free account automatically. It will look empty until you install the desktop app and turn on Sync — the desktop app is where your work happens; the web app is a live view of it.

What syncs, and what stays put

Plain chats sync when Chat sync is on, and Cowork conversations sync when Cowork sync is on — one switch drives both. Code-mode sessions deliberately stay on your machine. You can turn sync off at any time to go back to local-only.

  • Chats — your conversation history and titles
  • Cowork — project conversations and their files
  • Code sessions — stay on your device by design

Frequently asked questions

Is sync on by default?

No. Everything stays on your machine until you turn Sync on in Settings → General. It is the one feature that needs a free account; everything else works without one.

How do I sign in?

With your email — there is no password; we email you a six-digit code. The same account works in the desktop app and the web app at app.more-ai.net.

What syncs and what doesn’t?

Chats and Cowork projects sync when enabled; Code-mode sessions deliberately stay on your device. You can turn sync off at any time to go back to local-only.

Is my data private if I turn on sync?

Sync is opt-in and off by default — until you enable it, everything stays on your machine. When it’s on, it keeps your chats and Cowork projects up to date across your own signed-in devices, and you can switch it back off any time.

Can I use More AI on my phone?

You can open your synced chats and Cowork projects in any browser at app.more-ai.net — including on a phone — without installing anything. The desktop app is where the work happens; the web app is a live view of it.
