Cloud continuity: sync, web access and work across devices
Use an optional More AI account to sync supported work, open it at app.more-ai.net and run eligible tasks in the cloud. Signed-out desktop work does not sync; configured categories start syncing after sign-in, while cloud execution stays separately off until enabled.

What cloud continuity means
More AI offers three different ways to continue work: synchronization makes supported history and files available to your account; cloud execution runs a task on More AI infrastructure; paired remote control runs a task on your own connected computer.
The desktop app can be used without an account. Signing in starts the supported sync categories configured for that installation; review them in Settings → Sync and disable any you do not want. Cloud key upload and remote control are separate choices, initially off.
Sign in and choose the boundary
Sign in with the same account on desktop and at app.more-ai.net. Email sign-in uses a six-digit code instead of a password; other methods may appear on supported surfaces. Review the category switches after signing in: supported categories start on by default, and you can disable each one.
Cloud execution is a separate, initially off choice. End-to-end encryption of Cowork files is also optional and off by default; until you enable it, synced Cowork file content is stored in a form the service and web app can read. Available cloud features and limits can vary during beta; check the account interface before planning a task around them.
What you can do in the web app
Sign in at app.more-ai.net to open supported conversations and tasks from a computer or phone. You can start cloud work, follow its progress, return to the saved result and manage cloud schedules. Closing the viewing tab does not itself cancel a running cloud task.
The Library is being rolled out in beta. Where enabled for your account, it gives cloud files a separate place to find and reuse them. Select the files a task needs instead of assuming every folder on your computer has been uploaded. Available file sources, cloud tools and limits are shown in the account interface.
Code separates saved desktop history, paired computer execution and cloud workspaces. A saved snapshot can remain readable when its computer is offline; sending new commands to that computer requires it to be online and separately paired.
Beta status, mobile access and pricing
The web app is the dependable cross-device path. The Android APK is in private development testing. iOS is limited to development and simulator testing, with no distribution signing, TestFlight or device release. On a phone, use app.more-ai.net unless you have access to a current Android test build.
The desktop app is free, and token charges stay with the model provider behind your key. Cloud execution and cross-device access are the subscription layer. During the current beta, cloud features are temporarily available free; More AI says it will give advance notice before billing begins.

Set up a first cloud task
Choose a small, checkable result, such as a summary of an uploaded document or a public-source reading list. Add a provider key for cloud use or choose an account-provided model, then select the files and connectors needed for this task.
Cloud credentials are separate from using a key only in the desktop app. The service must be able to use a cloud key to call its provider. Review and remove cloud keys in settings. End-to-end encrypted project files cannot be read by the cloud agent without a readable copy deliberately made available for that work.
- Sign in with the account you intend to use on both devices.
- Check the task’s execution location and available model before sending.
- Make the necessary files available and ask for a result with sources or verification steps.
- Open the same task on another device and inspect the saved result. Use Stop when you want to cancel execution; closing the screen only ends your view.
Code: choose the computer or a cloud workspace
Local Code works in a repository on the selected computer. Paired remote access, when available, sends instructions to that same computer and needs it online. Synchronizing its history does not grant remote execution permission.
Cloud Code is a separate beta workflow: use the account interface to check availability and connect a supported repository. Choosing Cloud creates a separate workspace; it does not move a running local task, upload an uncommitted checkout or copy local keys and tools. Review the files, tests and any publication action before sharing the result.
Frequently asked questions
Is sync on by default?
Before sign-in, no. Once you sign in, the configured conversation, Code, Cowork, routine, memory and profile sync categories are on by default; you can disable each one. Cloud execution remains a separate, initially off switch.
How do I sign in?

Is synchronization the same as cloud execution?
No. Synchronization makes supported work available to your account on other surfaces. Cloud execution actually runs the task on hosted infrastructure, allowing an eligible task to continue after the laptop closes.
Does signing in upload every local file?
Not every local file or repository. Signing in starts supported data sync for the categories that are enabled by default, and each category can be disabled. Cowork file E2E is optional and off by default, so synced Cowork file content is readable by the service and web app unless you turn E2E on.
Can I use More AI on my phone?
Yes, through the responsive web app at app.more-ai.net. The Android APK is in private development testing; iOS currently has development and simulator testing only, with no distribution signing, TestFlight or device release.
Does choosing Cloud move my local repository and running task?
No. Cloud Code uses a separate workspace and its own available repository access and model configuration. Local changes, processes, provider keys and desktop tools are not transferred automatically.
